We are proud to be a member of the Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons Practice Standards Scheme. As an accredited practice, we are subject to regular inspections focusing on all areas of the practice, including hygiene, health and safety, clinical outcomes and the facilities we provide. The practice is inspected every four years and may be subject to spot-checks in the meantime.  The Practice Standards Scheme is a voluntary initiative – not all practices are part of it yet.RCVS accreditation means that as a client you can rest assured that our practice offers a high quality of care – in those areas of the practice that you can see – and those that you can’t.We are accredited as an RCVS General Practice – Species/Discipline Specific. This means that, in addition to complying with Core Standards, such as health and safety, hygiene and legal requirements and the provision of 24-hour cover, we provide a higher level of in-patient care. This includes separate cat & dog wards, extensive diagnostic facilities including ultrasonography, ECG, blood pressure monitoring, in house laboratory facilities and rapid access to specialist institutions. We also undergo routine monitoring of the outcomes of treatments and show strong commitment to the education and training of our staff.
